1)  Does silverlight run on any operating system, like linux, and does it needs the .net framework?

2)  Is the silverlight 3 course in development now directed to C# or VB?

3)  Can you tell us some links to examples for Silverlight 3 in Visual Basic?

4)  Does the future silverlight 3 course cover the animation and graphics topics?

5)  How can I use a Silverlight 3 xap usercontrol in a asp.net page?

Thanks a lot for your time and attention,

António Pereira

Some quick answers:

1.For information on supported operating systems and browsers, check here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd229102%28VS.95%29.aspx.

2. Definitely both, once it's written. And it looks like we'll be focusing on Silverlight 4, if at all possible.

3. You should be able to find VB examples at www.silverlight.net.

4. A future course on Silverlight will cover animation and graphics. The first one will not.

5. For information on using Silverlight and ASP.NET together, check out this article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc135987.aspx
