Dan Fernandez, Developer and Platform Evangelist, has a great blog article helping you get started with VS2010 and provides great resources for learning about the new features. Beth Massi also has some good links to get you started. I got my copy and will be diving into the IDE enhancement.

I've often heard that we are living in exponential times. Information, whether it relates to how I do my job or how my white chocolate mocha is made, is changing faster now than at any point in history. They say, by the time our kids graduate college, half of what was taught to them their freshman year will be obsolete.
Technology is no exception. It used to be that developers could be efficient in all areas of development: user interface, databases, security, business logic, etc. Today, it is tough to stay on top of any given area and the number of areas is growing as well.
As a learning company, it is a constant challenge to stay on top of what developers need to know; as well as deliver it in the way they want (CD, DVD, online). My goal is to stay on top of what is new and what is changing in the Microsoft developer community. This year has many exciting launches coming from Microsoft: Visual Studio 2010, SharePoint Server 2010, Windows 7, Silverlight 3, and many more.
Stick around as I try to sort this out
